1 lb. ground beef (85%)
2 mild roasted green chiles, chopped
1 t worchestershire
1/4 t paprika
1/4 t garlic powder
1/4 t onion powder
1/4 t kosher salt
1/8 t freshly ground pepper
1 t soy sauce
Mix all the ingredients into the ground beef. (It is easiest to used your hands) The patties should be 20% bigger than the bun because they shrink while as they cook. We made 3 burgers with the 1 lb. of meat. Once the patties were made, Jeff put them into the freezer for 15 or 20 minutes before putting them on the grill. (He says this helps them stay together on the grill.)

ReplyDeleteIt is... I told him he should post it on the blog but he wouldn't. He said if he did a recipe it would have to be much more interesting, like roasting a pig in the ground. I hope he was kidding.
